Welcome to The ICI TransAtlantic Art Award e.V. !
The ICI TransAtlantic Art Award e.V. is a charitable,
non-profit membership organization to support and benefit young artists
whose work focuses on aspects of international understanding, in particular
the transatlantic partnership.
It was founded in 2006 as a tax-exempt membership organization under German
tax law. It thereby is entitled to receive tax deductible donations and is
allowed to issue tax deductible donation receipts.
Next to the prestigious ICI TransAtlantic Art Award (ICI Triple A) which is
presented to one outstanding young artist on an annual basis, the
organization’s goal is to encourage dialogue between Europe and the United
States and between Germany and the United States especially. The ICI
TransAtlantic Art Award e.V. promotes international understanding, mutual
respect, tolerance and friendship and helps to strengthen transatlantic ties
by encouraging international cooperation in the fields of culture, art and
science.
To achieve its purpose, the ICI TransAtlantic Art Award e.V. organizes
high-level conferences, workshops, panel discussions, exhibitions and
symposia as well as other cultural events to promote its mission and
increase public awareness. It also keeps close links to representatives in
the fields of politics, industry, science, art and culture and actively
recruits sponsors and new members to raise funds to achieve its aims.
